Providing a nostalgic nod to the classic nautical timepiece, the gold-tone Invicta Pro Diver GQ stainless steel women's watch features 23 karat gold-plating and water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet). The round silver stainless steel watch case measures 26mm (1.02 inches) wide and has a black unidirectional rotating bezel with gold elapsed time markings and gold-tone scalloped edge. It has a black dial background with large luminous Tritnite hands (with seconds hand) and dotted dial markers. The stainless steel bracelet band mixes silver brushed and gold-tone polished links, and it's joined by a fold-over clasp with safety. Other features include a scratch-resistant mineral crystal with anti-reflective coating and a date function at 3 o'clock with magnifier.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

I got this watch for my wife and she loves it! Invicta makes several ladies divers watches most a little larger than this one. This is a great looking watch and for those that do not like the large Ivicta's, you will love this. To give you some perspective the sapphire crystal is almost exactly the size of a dime. The crown about the size of a nickle. The gold plating is very high polished and although the face is small the hands contrast nicely against it. Also, because of the magnification over the date one can read that well also. The bracelet rivals if not exceeds what you would expect on a Seiko. The clasp is sturdy but easy to manipulate when you desire to put it on or off.

The watch looks as if it would cost several hundred rather than less than one hundred.

One draw back that is found on every Invicta is the use of "tritnite" to illuminate the hands and face of the watch. Reviewers all over the web complain of how quickly Invicta watches grow dim after leaving a good light source for the dark. I can not help but wonder when Invicta will listen to the consumers and do something about that. However, I still say this watch is a great value. A smaller issue is this watch has a screw down stem and because of the small size it is just a little difficult to un-screw to set the time but not so much so to make it a burden. I would easily give it 5 stars if it were not for the illumination issue and still I would rate it at 4 to 4.5 stars.
