These shorts are amazing.. so far anyway. I've biked twice and ran once. I was skeptical at first because the padding seemed so thin. I got these for a 1/2 Ironman. I went for 30 mile ride in them to see how'd they feel on the bike. It was a casual ride but the shorts felt GREAT for the whole ride and after. The next day I pre-rode the 57 mile course.. Again, the shorts felt GREAT. the 'thin' pad is deceiving. I was very comfortable the entire ride and it's a tough, hilly course. I ran 5k after the ride and again, amazingly comfortable and cool. I'm sure the compression helps, but I'm not some elite athlete that could tell a big difference after only a couple of wears.. I can't stress enough about the COMFORT of these shorts while riding, (padding), running, (like the pad wasn't there), and how they 'feel' on your body. They conform to your body, they stay snug but not tight and stay cool, (I over heat easily.
I would highly recommend these shorts!

I forgot to mention.. I even gave them a durability test. Long story short, I ended up on the side of the road, dirt, grass and some rocks, at 20ish mph, not sure how far I slide but it was long/far enough to scrape up my let from ankle to hip.. NOT A SINGLE THING WRONG WITH THE SHORTS.. skin under the shorts was scratched and bruised, but the pants are scratch free!!!!!
