Finding good quality black athletic pants has become quite the challenge in recent years. After looking at several dozen choices on Amazon, I took a chance on these since they had good reviews, are 100% polyester, have a zippered back pocket, inner lining, and zippered cuffs. So I ordered a couple pair on speculation.

They arrived today and I am extremely glad I chose these pants. They fit perfectly, they have very good quality of workmanship and finish, and the indeed fit the product descriptions perfectly.

I have a 36 waist and 31/32 inseam. I purchased the Large size, based on the sizing info at Russell's website. They fit like they are tailored! Seriously, you could wear these as though they were casual pair of long pants (and NOT look dressed down like you just hopped out of the fitness center in cheap athletics). My wife thought I was trying on a new pair of slacks when she saw them on me.

The inner lining is a polyester fleece and is very comfortable. The outside is a double knit polyester with a very nice finish. Too soon to tell if they are snag prone or not.. but I really like the finish on these pants. I know some reviewers don't like zippered bottom cuffs, but honestly these are very nicely finished and I personally like a zipper at the bottom as it makes it easy to pull up the pant leg when needed.

I just ordered two more pair. Yes, they are that good.
