Item is as described. I read all the reviews before purchasing this item. I got a year membership for hot yoga and decided that using bath towels just wasn't cutting it. The towels would be soaked with sweat halfway through class. I decided on this towel based on the reviews I read. The item is completely as described. The towel is thick and absorbs all the sweat and is not slippery. I did feel that $40 is a lot to pay for a towel but felt that if I'm investing in hot yoga for a year and investing in myself, then $40 is worth it if the item performs as described. I was happy to see from others that it has a lifetime guarantee but no where does it say that in the packaging the mat/towel comes in. I checked the Mrs. Fitness website to confirm what others having been writing. I guess if something goes wrong, you just write the website and see what happens.
