As a nurse, I have been wearing ankle weights at work for in excess of 10 years. I am on my feet >12 hours at a time. I have tried many versions but these are by far superior to any of their contemporaries I tried. They are comfortable, the weight is adjustable, they're durable, but most of all in comparison to others, they stay in place AND I don't get sand staining my socks or in my shoes. I don't have time to adjust my ankle weights when I climb up on a bedside to do chest compressions! These stay put and never interfere with what I'm doing. The pair I now have is 7 years old and I am just now looking to replace them. I would make the purchase 100X over.
