This is a great yoga mat as far as I'm concerned! I've had problems with my wrists in the past which makes prolonged practices difficult even if I put as little weight on them as possible. This mat is so thick and soft that it really helps with the pressure. I also love the extra length because I don't have to worry as much about if I'm falling off the mat when I switch poses. If you tend to get really sweaty the mat may get a little slippery, but it isn't really a problem for me.

The bonus carrier is cheap but reliable, easy to take on an off so I've got no complaints there.

And extra bonus! The mat didn't even stink when I first unwrapped it! Yay!
