So, what's the problem?

Simple: Rubberbanditz sells them for nearly double the price of Body Bands.

Don't waste your money: Get the same product for half the price.

Your intelligent use of the free market will force over-priced retailers to either 1) lower their prices to be competitive with the best deals on the market or 2) close their doors.

Spend your money wisely. I almost bought these because they're what my friends have, but then I saw the body bands and ordered the 1-4 set for $59 dollars.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Invicta Men's 9310 Pro Diver Collection Swiss Quartz Watch Review

Upon noticing this watch, I had a friend tell me how envious he was of me - "I guess you need to get your second kid out of the way before you get to buy your `Submariner.' I have been asking my wife if I could get one for years with no luck." Later that day I told him that I liked the Tag he was wearing. "Not as nice as yours" was his response (His Tag cost 12 - 15 times what MY "Submariner" cost).

I have only had this watch for several days, so my review is based upon that experience. I hope to update my review a couple of years in the future. I bought it because my ESQ of 9 years was with the repairperson being cleaned, is having some problems, and ESQ discontinued the model. I have owned Pulsar, Timex, Michel Herbelin, and an ESQ 200M diver and my review will compare my impressions against those timepieces, especially the ESQ.

First, this is a STUNNING, beautiful watch! It looks better than the photos. Depending upon the light, the color changes from blue to purple to royal blue. The watch case has Invicta engraved on one side and looks elegant. The Invicta logo wings on the back of the second hand look classy.

The crown has a Swiss cross raised on it and is of the screw-down variety. It threads with a grinding, unnatural feel, and I fear it will mis-thread and fail over time.

The bezel is tight and rotates with great reluctance (an apparent Invicta trait). I use the bezel a lot and am disappointed I will be unable to use it much on this watch. The bezel on my ESQ is near perfect, and I am puzzled why Invicta cannot improve this aspect.

The luminescence is disappointing. When exposed to direct, unfiltered sunlight the lume is initially fine but fades within an hour. My ESQ puts it to shame.

The band (brushed silver links with polished gold links) is fine, looks GREAT, and does not pull my arm hair but does not feel as heavy or as high quality as my ESQ's band (I cannot image what the "folded link" bands on lesser Invictas are like). I have read in these reviews that the 23k gold plating comes off rather easily over time.

The movement is Swiss and seems fine. The second hand hits the watch's tick marks much more precisely than my ESQ.

Overall, I believe the watch is a great value. I chose it because I would have had to move to the $400 - $500 price point to find anything else close to what I liked and Amazon offered a free extended warranty. Although I would not have purchased this watch without the extended warranty, I may purchase other Invicta's without it depending upon my experience with this one.

UPDATE 11/12/11: Three years later and I have nothing but great things to say about this watch. Aside from some scuffs on the clasp and scratches toward the bottom of band from normal desk diving wear, the watch remains beautiful. Note that the scratches are on the center polished portion of the band but the gold plate remains fully intact; the brushed outer links look fine.

Since it was under warranty, I did recently return it Invicta for its 3-4 year cleaning. It was returned to me with a slightly looser bezel, so that was a pleasant surprise. However, the movement also no longer hits the tick marks exactly (similar to my Christopher Ward). The cleaning cost me $56 (initially I thought it was only going to be $28), and I was without it for 3 months. In hindsight, I probably should have simply taken it to my local jeweler ($45 and without it for 3-6 weeks) and will do so in the future.

Danskin Girls 2-6X Baby Ballerina Leotard With Tutu, Petal Pink, Small Review

I purchased the "toddler" size for my average/thin almost 3 year old. She tried it on and it seemed to fit nicely, not too small or too big. She wanted to wear it around the house but after about 1 hour she was complaining that the skin on her belly hurt. The seam/elastic that holds the tutu skirt sticks out a bit and was pinching her so much that she had a red indent all around her abdomen. Tags were already off so I could not return but wish I purchased a larger size. I am going to try and stretch the elastic out a bit before her dance class. My daughter is not large in the belly area so I would suggest sizing up to avoid the elastic pinching.

Brooks Unisex T7 Racer Racing Flats, Color: ElctrcBlue/Slvr/Blck, Size: 5.5 Review

I like minimalist shoes, and these are terrific for that. I used to run with the T6, and while I don't like these quite as much, I do like them. In terms of fit, I usually wear size 12 in most running shoes, but on these Brooks (and the T-6 as well), I had to get size 13 in order to fit. The one minor thing I don't like, which will prevent these from being my go-to shoes for running is the way the laces are done. They are off-center, and tie very much off to the outside of the shoe. You can't really tell from these side shots, but if you look straight down at the shoe, its very obvious. While it kind of looks cool, it does affect the lacing and the way the shoe feels on the foot in a way that is very noticeable. Some people might like it, but it makes my feet feel lopsided.

I purchased these for the sole durability and I haven't been disappointed. I'm a heavier runner 6'2" 200 lbs and often run both street and trail on the same run so having a shoe that can handle both was the impetus behind this purchase. The top of the shoes binds the top of my foot slightly and the shell isn't very flexible. Good durable shoe, but won't win any comfort awards.

After putting in about 500 miles on these shoes, I've got to say I rated them too low. They gradually get more comfortable, but the durability is truly striking. Most of my running shoes show signs of wear a month in, but it took me a good 3 months to see any wear on the outer heal (where I tend to see wear first. I liked these so much I'm buying another pair and re-rating my purchase to a 5.

I've had this watch for several days now and it has become my new daily wear watch. The instruction book is poorly written and the controls are not easily intuitive, but if I read, think, walk away and then come back later to review again, the instructions for settings and management become more clear. Physically the watch is light on my wrist and the markings are very clear and easily read in almost any light. Casio builds a great watch, but needs to clear-up the poorly written instruction booklet.
