Sole Fitness F80 Folding Treadmill (New 2013 Model) Review

I've had the Sole Fitness F80 for several weeks. My wife and I both use it every day and we think it's pretty awesome. This treadmill replaced an older ProForm 585T we were gifted from Mother-in-Law. The ProForm was terrible and of much lower quality and performance. It's probably unfair to compare the two units because I'm sure the ProForm cost about half as much as the F80. In any case, the F80 is a great treadmill and has many excellent qualities and features.

The Belt and Deck is wider than many other treadmills, especially less expensive ones. You really learn to appreciate the wider deck once you start using this and then go back to one with a deck that isn't as wide. This deck measures 22" wide and is a generous 60" in length. I never run off the end of this treadmill and I'm 6'2" with a long stride. The belt is 2-ply and there is some sort of suspension in the deck that cushions you from the pounding when using it. This really makes running on the F80 a dream, particularly considering the price and that this is not a "commercial" treadmill.

The treadmill has a powerful 3.5HP motor and a 2.75" roller. These are qualities that make this feel like such a high quality treadmill.

The treadmill is capable of running at up to 12MPH and can incline up to a 15% grade.

Other things to note are the Lifetime Warranty on the Frame, Deck and Motor, 5 year Warranty on the Electronics and a 2 year Warranty on Labor.

The treadmill has an easy-assist folding mechanism that lets you easily raise the deck if you need to vacum under the treadmill, or just to conserve a little space when its not in use. Lowering the deck is even easier than raising it. There is a hydraulic mechanism that slowly and gently lowers the deck to the floor.

The electronics are excellent and the display is quite competent too. It compares quite favorably with much higher priced displays that you'd see on commercial treadmills in health clubs.

There is plenty of storage cubbys for water bottles, mp3 players, etc. And there is a ledge at the bottom of the display that lets you read a book, magazine, Kindle or tablet. You also get a built-in fan that works well. The treadmill also has a 3.5mm input for running an mp3 player into so you can listen to music or whatever through the built-in speakers. Sole has even included a headphone output if you want to wear headphones or earbuds while listening to music.

I own several other pieces of Sole Fitness equipment; a recumbant exercise bike and a spin bike. Everything from Sole is of great quality and a good value. I"m very very happy with the F80 treadmill.

Onzie Women's Peacock Yoga Legging, Medium/Large Review

I ordered these in small/medium and stand 5'3" at 118 lbs. While I really liked the pattern, I was not a fan of the material or the fit.
The material felt a little coarse and reminded me of old school competition swim suits.
And while the pattern was really cute and could probably disguise panty lines if someone wore them with their period panties, it could not disguise the "camel toe" staring back at me in the mirror when I put these on. A triangle-style gusset similar to Lululemon pants did nothing to hide that either. Perhaps I am too "beefy" or muscle-bound for these, but I wear a 4 in Lululemon pants and never have had any problems with camel toe. Ladies, be warned.

OPTP Franklin Mini Roll Each Review

Firstly, I think this mini roll should be packaged with Eric Franklin's book without instructions, a novice to ball rolling or Eric Franklin's exercises may find it somewhat useless. Having used Eric Franklin's book but the mini roll not readily available, I found that I collected an eclectic assortment of balls trying to substitute.
I was so pleased with the results of the first mini roll that I ordered the second. These mini rolls are great for working with TMJ, neck, "traps", "pec", and sacrum. They are just the right size. They can be filled with the amount of air that most suits the user. Practically speaking, shipping them without air is good as it eliminates the balls expanding, bursting or otherwise being damage during shipping.
My physical therapist is now considering ordering them for use with her clients.

Casio Women's BLX103-1 Baby-G Black Resin G-Lide Digital Mirror Dial Sport Watch Review

I'm more of a Timex kinda gal but decided to venture into the Casio world. I've heard great things about Casio and after seeing the tide/moon function, decided to get this watch. I do a lot of fishing here in Florida and it's helpful to know high/low tide and the associated moon phase. Word of warning - set up for the home site data which is needed for the moon/tide function is difficult. You have to set the UTC (coordinated universal time) differential and longitude/lunitidal interval) correctly or the tide/moon data for your location will be wrong. This set up requires the use of (easy) formulas but resulted in me consulting a tech friend to figure out. Don't be scared off though, basic watch set up is intuitive and for most of it, I didn't need to look at the instruction book. With the features I couldn't figure out, the instruction booklet explained. The watch has more functions than I'll ever use but are nice to have.

A peculiarity concerning the watch is it has a beautiful mirror face but when turned a certain way, you see your reflection making it difficult to read the display. This is simple to correct, just turn the face slightly and you'll be able to read it. It's a minor annoyance but if you have no patience for such adjustments, this will frustrate you! I was actually thinking of returning the watch but because of laziness and the ease of fixing the problem, I didn't.

PRO'S:
- Beautiful watch with a mirror face and shiny black band
- Numerous functions (world time zones, alarms, countdown timer, etc)
- Easy and intuitive basic watch setup
- Tide/moon phase which is great for fishing
- Water resistance is a plus
- Rugged yet stylish look, I know the watch can take a beating and still work
- Size of the face is perfect for smaller people/children
- Smaller wrist band actually fits without a lot of extra band leftover

CON'S
- The mirror face, although stylish, causes a reflection and the watch display can be hard to read
- The display is smaller than I'm used to - the tide data takes up a portion of the display. If you have a hard time reading smaller numbers, you're going to have problems with this watch. My Timex has the same size face but the numbers are 1.5 times larger.
- Home site data for moon/tide function takes some effort to figure out
- Light doesn't stay on long, maybe 2 seconds, which is good to save the battery but you have to quickly read the display

All in all, I love the watch, I'm glad I kept it and am getting good use out of it!
